Hi I am trying to update my joomla 3.10.12 site ( I have done quite a few at this stage)
for some reason when i try via Live update or Upload and Update (loading the Joomla_4.4.5-Stable-Update_Package.zip) file the loader progress bar does not progress and I get the message:

I turned on errors and debug but nothing shows
I tried updating whilst the site is in php7.4 and in 8.1 - same issue
I have removed all 3rd party stuff apart from Fabrik which i have disabled.
Is there any way I can update to joomla 4 using ftp if i cant get the joomla uploader to work?
